Because Purify only covers “magic” effects, which afflicted do not have labeled.
Need to talent into improved purify which covers diseases

Your DPS should be dispelling afflicted anyway, when you start pushing higher keys, especially on fort weeks you will need to dispel debuffs or they will kill your people.
