The amount of times you go into that zone and a guild has organized dozens of raid groups to flood into the zone causing it to be unplayable seems like it’s exploiting and should be against the rules. It’s incredibly corny and annoying when you have no way of getting out of the zone.
edit: for the people crying faction imbalance being justification for this form of griefing and exploiting,
People that are a part of ruin and the like aren’t trying to lag or crash you guys. We’d just like to feel what it’s like to be a privileged horde player in pvp sometimes, so we have to make large groups. And a lot of us wanna get on this horde privilege
What advantage is there to crashing a zone where nobody can actually control their character, and how is that something I enjoy every day when I’m currently in Uldum and not unable to control my character. It only happens in Naz.
They are not trying to crash the zone, they are trying to MATCH YOUR NUMBERS. If you want to cry about something, complain about the fact that Blizzard still can not load balance their servers.
I don’t care what they are “trying” to do. If everyone knows it crashes the servers and they continue to do it, they know they are doing it. Horde or Alliance, both should be bannable. That “match your numbers” thing is trying to turn this into some HEWHEWHW HORDE VS ALLIANCE thing that I do not give a single f about. Nobody is flying around any zone other than Nazjatar in massive raid groups doing nothing.
It’s a fault of Blizzard to not have developed a better way of making a map wide PvP event that doesn’t result in this.
People have the right to party and claim territory flags as they like. The game has been able to handle this before - it’s due to all the special effects/RNG rolls that it has an issue now.
People do not have a special right to do whatever they please in game. It’s Blizzard’s game, and in my opinion crashing these servers should be bannable. It’s been going on forever. It’s not an accident. Could care less about the useless mana pearls or the winning or losing of the “Battle for Nazjatar” - it’s old content no one cares about. What I care about is the losers crashing servers and knowing they are doing it.
it’s a forum. This is the place to voice the things I care about. So yes, in my thread… it does matter.
People can sign up to join raid groups in literally every other zone without crashing servers. It isn’t random LFG groups trying to play the game crashing servers. It’s certain guilds organizing such groups flooding into the same shards and crashing them.
If it matters then you do care about the event and then it should be in your interest that Blizzard improves the sever to be able to handle groups of people working to capture the flag in an area.
It’s a map wide battle. Everyone has the right to make raid groups to win it.
Or they could move the Naz event off to a phased instance (like they do with Wintergrasp. Then when it is about to become active you queue up for it, this way they can correctly load balance the instances and the problem is solved.
The game has NEVER been able to handle close quarters WPvP with any kind of numbers well. It was a problem back in vanilla during the SS/TM back and forths and any major city raid.
