Now that everyone runs dungeons, regular, heroic and M0 like they were trying to beat a +15 key leaving people who loot trash in the dirt why doesn’t dungeon loot just get directly into your bag.
I know it’s not a priority and that most people won’t care but IMO selling greys pays for repairs and greens can, sometime, be pretty valuable on the AH. It’s also not a bad way for new characters to make a few gold.
So either there is no point for trash to drop loot or the system needs to be adapted, IMO.
It used to go straight to your mailbox, but words were exchanged, and they don’t do that anymore.
Boss drops do, but not trash. Maybe if a fancy BoE dropped, it would mail it to you.
Why not mail leather to skinners, while you at it, and, heck, put mining and herb nodes into dungeons. When a toon with the right professions beats the last boss, they get all of those “for free” as well.
I would support an auto loot option for trash, but it would need to be a toggle or some people would get crazy.

Actually didn’t think about gathering professions but yeah, no one is going to wait for you to skin mobs. I wonder if the community would be ok with that or see it as an unfair advantage?

Oh yeah absolutely. I was really disappointed at Blizz for just scrapping the idea instead of fixing it just because a few people complained. It should have been opt-in from the start and give players the option to chose the quality and kind of items they want to receive.
