why would the warsong set, which is meant for warriors, only be able to be worn by hunters and shamans. i wish i could wear the helmet at least for my transmog.

Its meant to be for warriors and is meant to be plate? It doesn’t even look like plate armor.
beat’s me Orcsbane, my only guess is because the orcs only wore leather/mail armor originally in our timeline before the legion popped in. but, it’s probably because the blackrock set would look odd on a mail wearer.
It’s clan lore.
The Warsong were lightly-armored raiders. They didn’t need heavy plate so they didn’t wear it.
The Blackrock clan was all about defensive ability and heavy metals, they were known for their metal-crafts and weapon-crafts. The Blackrock armor is meant to show the clan’s history.
The same is true for the Shadowmoon armor, it’s clan was a group of Shamans and Mysics that didn’t fight much so they werent known to wear heavy armor either.
