Why is WrA becoming a target for mass raids from multiple other servers?

Given what the average player is like and how Blizzard’s spent at least one solid decade (I guess less so now but it’s still thin god damn ice) deflecting and ignoring some pretty gross behaviours both in terms of gameplay mechanics and ooc personalities, also like, gamers on average…

Maybe less community is a good thing

I mean I know a good community is better than no community but some days man I’m pretty sure just turning the mmo part off would improve a lot of things.

I’ve helped Dravvie with the Running of the Gnomes for almost he entire time it’s been going. I slept through one year accidentally. Oops!!

But every single year there’s always people who try to cheat others. In the Olden Days people would just give fake donation links or whatever. As streaming’s become bigger, people have switched to trying to take credit for it on their streams, tricking people into donating to them, etc. They’ll create fake guilds with name schemes like the official ones, try and poach people to mess up the head count, and just generally be slimy.

We always stress to use official links only, to only join the guilds listed on the running info sheets, but stuff slips through.

Trust me. We are trying to do more Alliance community stuff.

It’s difficult picking up the pieces after what BfA has done to the Alliance.

Cracks knuckles. It ain’t much, but it’s honest work.

I kind of agree, but I always wonder if when the population becomes super low and WoW inevitably goes F2P if that means a lot more chaos will ensue. ESO didn’t seem too bad, so maybe it’ll be ok.

I don’t think the monetization model will make a difference at the end of the day, frankly. We’re only going to continue to see a decline but it’ll be irrelevant of the gameplay and mostly just the result of Blizzard’s chronic inability to punish players with bad attitudes. I mean, the game also being not great won’t help, but the only reason things like this continue to occur is because Blizzard’s not about to change over a decade of operations to suddenly encourage a healthy and mature community.

Even if they started right now, it would take years to see any sort of cultural shift in everyday interactions in game. It’s kind of crazy when you consider the scope.

Also Blizzard profits on trolls and bigots so like.

Leave me out of this.

Yep TE doesn’t hit cities to cause lag (they often only run with one raid group to reduce lag), they are looking for fights. The reason they hit Wra is that it has loads of players in the city and they will often form a raid to fight back. So if you want them to leave, just ignore them and they will look for fights elsewhere.

Former ED player, err yeah it kind was the reason. I mean if not what else?

I am associated with a religious shrine and I am going to respect the rules of who I work for.

Things in the American level of loud discourse is too grating to me, and sometimes unfamiliar.

I don’t have the spoons (mental energy) to debate such things on forums.

I hear enough of it on Facebook that I haven’t logged onto there in some time.

Most of my social media is set for Japanese otherwise.

I tune out Trade.

Note: I couldn’t edit to give clarification, so this is a repost.

Thanks, I’ve seen enough Futurama references today that I’ve run out of likes, nobody make any more Futurama posts until tomorrow.
