They never lift a single finger to grind. And this is a game of grind.
MMOs don’t attract young players. Maybe they did 20 years ago, maybe 15 years ago, but nowadays the games that attract young players are FPS (and third-person shooters) games like Fortnite, CoD, etc. or whatever slop EA recycles every year and slaps the name “FIFA” or “Madden” on.
The fact of the matter is, MMOs require a massive time investment, and kids still going to school and young adults just trying to lock down a job are not going to be investing hundreds, if not thousands, of hours into an MMO when they could just queue for a Fortnite game and be in and out within 20 minutes.
WoW doesn’t appeal to younger generation because the game is tainted with neckbeard mouthbreather gatekeeping everything to try and boost their sad ego. Younger generation are more mature and when I play game like Roblox and Valorant with my kids, the young ones are often more mature and have a better attitude than the majority of neckbeard I used to encounters during pugs or mythic+. The game is in full cash-cow mode until it goes into Maintenance mode
The under-20s that I know don’t want PC games -and many of them no have a PC-. They want console or touch games, cell phone games. PCs in many countries are something not common today, at most a laptop used for work.
It’s not the game or the theme, it’s how it should be played. In Albion, for example, you see that many “players” do not actually play but rather use cell phone chat as a social link.
No pick up play.
Wow old. Wow large.
Items no get no more.
hahahahhaa
That’s your issue. Going into sweat content expecting maturity.
I also doubt your maturity claim on Valorant.
you’re the perfect example of a boomer saying “blah blah hahaha young generation”… go head and download those game and witness how more mature gen “z” compared to the average retail wow player.
Honestly no clue why the 6 time wine mom of the year is asking us why kids don’t play wow. She is the one with a lowbie army. ask your kids why you’re the only one in the house that plays. Don’t ask us
You haven’t been in a CoD lobby and it shows.
Alternatively, you haven’t been following Minecraft content creators at all, because there are so, SO many actual groomers in that community it’s insane.
Cod is a 20 years old game
Pause. The only people I knew who use this word, both ironically and unironically, are 20 somethings. Usually young 20 somethings, or those that are at he end of their teenage years. >_> congrats dawg, you outted yourself.
Partly because it’s a 20 year old game. Rocket League is almost 10.
Old style MMOs are dominated mostly older players because they grew up with that sort of game. Younger players prefer different genres.
That gets a new release monthly.
I teach 121 students in the 16-19 age range and the vast majority of the boys play CoD in those classes.
Nah. I don’t need that to know youngsters are always more immature.
Also, you’re comparing them to the average M+ pugger, not the average retail WoW player, which are completely different play styles.
You’re out of touch with with that argument. Keep grinding your achievements points in your dieing MMORPG clueless boomer
Zoomer confirmed, Mature claims, denied.
