Why is warrior's fear 6 seconds

not sure if i was roared by an evoker but warrior fears are longer than a lock’s fear or druid’s cyclone

with the cc reduction patch 10.1 i expected war fear to be 4-5s

I believe imtim shout has always been durationally longer than cyclone. Lock fear is now 6 sec too I think with this patch.

That’s the upgrade, Menace, which removes the target cap and knocks back nearby individuals who weren’t targeted when it was used. It started seeing a lot of play towards the end of last season when people realized it 1) increased the duration of fear and 2) was uncapped and absolutely ruined Demo

Same logic was applied to blind successfully. You could ‘spam’ it b/c you had so much other cc you could use it when you wanted. Warriors have enough cc that fear is essentially ‘spammable’ b/c they can use their other cc first and use fear when it’s best timing.

The point I’m making about the mechanics of these abilities is obv idiotic. Both have a cd and are certainly not spammable.

War fear has a much much higher threshold for damage than any other. Its a 6s stun essentially. That part is true and it should be breaking to nothing damage like roots and most other fears.
