i dont always have the iron and farming it gets old. tw could be a alternate path to 584 gear

just bc its not heroic raiding or m+ doesnt mean it has to drop dirt. just make it drop the same ilevel as lfr/siren isle gear thats it

WTF do you mean you don’t have the iron??? Seriously? You are running low on that currency? What are you doing? You do know you aren’t meant to throw it into a pit and burn it in a fire right?

It is the most ridiculously easy to earn currency so far. Everything you do drops iron. And quests give you 100’s at a time.

It’s TW. Catchup gear for under or ungeared 80s. Not sure what you were actually expecting. I mean
 TW gear has never been epic.

LOL, actually YES, it does mean it drops dirt.

Siren Isle is newest mini expac so that’s why it’ll have better than dirt gear. But soon, the gear there will have as much relevance as the Dreamlands or Forbidden Reach.

i farm only when i need to gear a fresh alt. the island is tedium. if the ring or catch up gear wasnt there i wouldnt be there.

Except that, as has been pointed out, TW is NOT for gearing alts. Not even close. For one thing, it’s not even vaguely a challenge. It’s there for levelling said alts, farming transmorgs, coins or other event rewards. THATS ALL. You don’t do it for gear for 80’s.

TW is meant more for levelling, than for catch-up gear. Siren Isle is catchup gear.

Bull. I’ve tested on multiple alts for shiggles. Average queue time is about 30-45 minutes for timewalking. Everything else is at least three times as fast.
