Dev and storm flew by I enjoy those zones, but with tiragarde I just feel like the quest line is dragging.
I enjoyed dev and storm because I was in the story, having fun not thinking about how long it takes. With Tiragarde I’m 3/7 chapters after about 5 hours of picking at it with sanity breaks every hour thinking to myself when will it ever end lol.
Did you have any pain when doing the chapters in tiragarde?
This is my 5th time doing it and it gets longer every time I do it.
I just finished it up on my Demon Hunter and it went by pretty quickly… I think most of the reason would be Demon Hunter Mobility. I was able to glide over a lot of the trouble-spots and dodge a lot of the encounters.
The problem with Tiragarde is that it just keeps going. The entire Wharf quest line fits better with Stormsong Valley but they just had to stick it in to drag out Tiragarde.
I enjoyed stormsong (beauty valley) and Tiragard (quest and lore involving Jaina), but I did not like drustvar!
For me it was a tiring, long, bad map to navigate, with irrelevant mobs in large numbers, and a lore that did not make me feel connected to anything on BfA!
It even looked like something else!
My alts avoided the map! I felt more satisfaction in the other maps!
As discouraging as Drustvar, just Nazmir!
I found Stormsong visually amazing, but the story was kinda meh. You’re just chasing rogue tidesages across the map, with a few honeybee dithering and Farmer-Bob-has-craaaaazy-weeds-man side-quests.
Tiragarde was so-so… Drustvar was pretty solid overall… Stormsong and those out of nowhere Quilboars was just annoying.
I think Tiragarde just is too all over the place and some of the questing got really irritating for me to do. A bit more fluidity in their story-telling and overall questing that found a balance between fun and engaging would of been great but I understand that CAN be a tall order all the time.
As Weird Al said, I will jump into a swimming pool filled with double-edged razor blades the ever go into that quillboar warren again. That quest where you have to poke into every weird multi-leveled cave and find the crates was nearly impossible for my spatial awareness issues.
I think the quilboars exist because (from my horrible memory) they were in Warcraft 3 missions to do with kul tiras.
Honestly though stormsong just felt too spread out and too many quests given at once and every quest you finish hands 3 bread crumbs all over the zone.
Tirisgarde felt too colourless and open. I swear desert/dirt/industrial zones just give off a feeling of bleh for me. I love the forests and jungles.
Drustvar was pretty good, it’s carried heavily by the spooky themes and art. Quests flowed pretty decently too.
it’s the only alliance zone i kinda like. i didn’t finish the entire thing though. i’ve done nazmir like 7 times and still love it but the alliance zones were just not good imo. didn’t bother to finish any of them.
