Why are twinks allowed to queue into normal BGs? 3 BGs in a row, this fully decked out mage has single-handedly been wrecking the entire BG. I can’t include screenshot links of her damage.
Why aren’t these people forced into twink queues if they’re decking out their gear? This isn’t fun at all.
Twinks have been a thing since battlegrounds started existing. At least you aren’t a level 10 fighting that level 19 twink that you can’t even touch because you miss every attack against them. Remember those days? Probably not.

Twinking is one of those sacred things Blizzard refuses to touch, like Multiboxing. Best not fight this unwinnable battle. And I know your pain very much. Lots of low lvl brackets in PvP are saturated with these people out to ruin people trying to play Casual Battlegrounds fairly.
Also, you can put links in the forums. You can post with a spaced out URL or use some code mumbo jumbo to post it which I do not know what it is.

Twinks are no longer placed in xp on queues. They were segregated into supposed “xp off queues” that never pop, so most of them quit. You did not see a twink in a random bg.
Did you armory the player? It could have been a 120 grouped with a low level using party sync.

spend 20 minutes on leveling and get to next bracket. Or don’t pvp on leveling at all, what’s even the point, you don’t even have all abilities

Put a ` on the bookends of the URL. That’s the key next to the 1 on your QWERTY keyboard. Like this:

Thank you Vhx I’ll keep that in mind.
Well heck. Not the OP but I swear it feels like Twinks are abundant whether or not they’re Party Synced, even though Party Sync has created problems on its own, e.g the whole thing where lv. 120 players smash people in the 111-119 PvP bracket.
I have twinks. They only do PvE content or farm. Some other twinks I know only do wpvp. Queuing for bgs is no more.

Forgot about the whole thing with “XP Off” brackets until Corgen mentioned it. So yes, I am incorrect in my initial post.
I dunno who this mage is but he sounds like a cool dude.
People that lock their xp (twinks) don’t get matched with people that don’t, but it might be party sync. Many people have reported party sync allowing people to queue with a lower level. And it seems currently that the scaling is making them way stronger than intended because of things like corruptions working at low level.
Except they did change twinking almost 18 months ago.
Characters with xp off cannot queue in regular BG’s anymore.

huh?

“real” twinking died at the end of TBC.

Because it’s an MMO - Players with better gear are going to dominate.
If you wanted everyone on an equal playing field from the jump, you should be playing a game like CoD or Fortnite.
That’s their hook. Dedicate your time/effort to the game and you can become that guy.

Like others have said already, twinks are no longer allowed in XP-On. What OP might be experiencing is either a party sync, or a player with enchanted boas that’s leveling through the bracket.
Not every class/spec is created equal in lower brackets. Especially mages and their arcane spec, which dominate if you let them stand in the back casting.

You know why they don’t go to Elwynn Forest and hammer wolves like that one shotting them? If there was a person on the other end of the screen playing that wolf, you bet your only dollar they’d be there one shotting you.
People love abuse. They love the feeling of just being unstoppable and being able to kill you without effort. Look up smurfing. CSGO is filled with hackers for pleasure, not because they legit want to climb the ranks. They seek your displeasure and they get off on it.
No one wants to twink against a full 10 party of twinks in WSG. You see the point?
RIP the days of actually twinks
Before Blizz killed their queues and probably made a lot of them legit quit
You’re not running into a twink. You’re running into a geared player who likes to PvP.
The idea of twinking is setting up a character, at the maximum level of any given bracket, and kitting them out in the best possible gear for that bracket and never leaving it via the ‘turn XP off’ feature which prevents them from eventually going into the next bracket and being at the bottom of the totem pole again.
But if you turn XP off in order to ‘twink’ you are put in an ‘XP off’ queue, which means you’re only going to run into other folks who have purposefully turned XP off, ie, other twinks.
