Was just checking in on Moonguard doing my usual rounds. While walking in Goldshire (to complete a quest…) somebody was trying to recruit people to an 18+ ERP guild.
Nobody can prove their age online. So saying, “HEY JOIN MY 18+ ERP GUILD!” seems uhhhh, sketchy.
Goldshire has the reputation it has. Even a minor would be smart to not go there, if they’re not being an idiot like some I’ve seen online and blatantly looking for the stuff purely to report the adults participating after going looking for it.
Which, OP, you remind me of them, same exact server, going exactly to the same place knowing exactly what it’s known for purely to report it.
You went to Goldshire, on Moonguard server, knowing it had the rep it has, don’t be surprised.
It’s only a matter of time before some mom gets angry at the mature role play and forces Blizzard to make Warcraft rated “M” and they lose some shareholders and partnerships.
ERP recruiting is normal. I get whispers for it all the time as well as open declaration in /G.
And as far as being reportable? Not really. Unless you are say a minor and you want to lodge a complaint. That might get something to happen. Otherwise… you did agree to the End User Agreement.
Part of that allows Apple to sew no less than two humans together lips to tea-kettle style… oh woops. Wrong company.
Maybe you’re new to the Internet, but you know how some… more “mature” websites have a button that you have to click past that says “I am over 18”? If you’re under 18 and click it, you’re lying about your age to get in and therefore anything you experience is now your own fault and/or your parents’ fault for letting you browse the Internet unsupervised.
