To quote what was advertised, “Players who upgrade to the Epic Edition of The War Within will also gain immediate access to the beta.”. Well there is no client to install yet despite being June 5th and past the daily reset time. There is still no information on when these would be available. Why is that?

I am sure we will know something soon enough, but it would have been nice to have at least allowed the Beta client to download in advance for those of us flagged to participate with Epic Edition purchase.

9am and maintenance starts at 7am so it being only 9am is a moot point. The daily reset has already passed and maintenance should be long done since they took alpha down yesterday.

Not all of us run ancient computers that cant handle new content. BETA or not I rarely see crashes even in D4 which is notorious for crashing.
Buddy it has nothing to do with anyone’s computer.
Beta is a buggy mess that people are supposed to be testing to make better, not super early access tourist mode that everyone seems to be chomping at the bits to get into.
A lot of people are going to be very disappointed whenever they get around to turning it on.

IIRC the past betas all happened between 11am -through- 3pm pst.
Typically those who get opted in, as well those with epic should get a notification for their Battle net launcher to update and restart and should have the option in their drop down box above the launch/play button to download.
I have done many of WoWs BETA’s and they are usually far from what you describe.
Test clients take time to convert from alpha to beta. This is why we don’t take days off for this kinda stuff.

They are probably working on the build that will go up today and it will go up when it is in the state they want it to be which is also why you wouldn’t be able to download the client updates yet either.

it will be as advertised…when beta is released people will get in. As of right now, it hasn’t released.

Reminds me of a kid back in the 90s at a concert.
Buys Ticket. Ticket says Concert starts at 7pm, Doors open at 5pm. Kid is camped out in front of doors at 12pm (noon) throwing a fit about false advertising and how they should let him in cause it was the day of the concert.
