Why is there so little wpvp on Nightslayer?

I’m currently a level 52 Tauren Druid on Nightslayer, which is the pvp realm. Thing is, I have seen VERY little wpvp activity in my journey so far. Compared to my experience on Whitemane, Nightslayer has been extremely tame. It’s almost like I’m actually on a pve server. 99% of the alliance players I run across don’t even look twice at me. I was expecting to actually fight other players on this pvp realm. Has anyone else been experiencing the same thing?

Just wait a week.

It’s coming.

A lot of this is due to the new layering system. In every other classic iteration there was a lot more player interaction in general that is completely absent on the sharded megaservers because you can’t even see the players you’re playing with.

This is also a big factor and is a big bummer especially when you’re specifically beefing with someone and because of layering you may never see them again.

But January 9th will be a bloodbath regardless.

Oh theres plenty. It just consists of 5 level 50-60 Alliance sitting in Hillsbrad fields picking off 20 somethings and then vanishing if Horde 60s show up to drive them off, only to come back when the Horde group loses interest due to lack of engagement from the Alliance 60s.

Replace ‘Hillsbrad’ with ‘Redridge’ and you have the Alliance experience of this.

Because the fantasy of fair fights out in the world has always been just that: a fantasy. WPvP is 5% organized events, 95% gank squads. Always has been, always will be.

I don’t know what you’re talking about, everyday I kill every single player on my sight, specially gnomes and rogues I don’t even think twice and show dominance so they know I’m the better player as always. You’re either lying or seeking attention. Irrelevant topic

Come pull up

No pvp because they didn’t release ranking.

Most players that play wow are pve players and blizzard make the phases for them

What? LoL just jump every single ally you see and they will eventually fight back.

90% of them stay mounted and try to run off but eventually your name makes the server list like mine and they will start adding you to KOS on the Spy addon.

Red is dead no matter what and you will get all the pvp you want.

there is no honor system in the game give it a week and then you will be back crying about being constantly ganked

People are busy levelling, farming, questing… and there is currently no incentive to PvP in terms of in-game rewards.

Don’t worry, come Phase 2, you’ll be wishing it was as tame as it is now.

Also BRM is usually a gong show.

Idk why you decided to attack my 60 mage on your 49 mage at Tanaris GY couple days back but I ended up killing you 3 times for the audacity and breaking the tentative mage pact. I immediately recognized you from the forums

I don’t pick on the low levels unless I get bored but that is going to change soon (at least til I get that pvp trinket cause I want it!). Unfortunately farming low level mobs for gold gets me bored after an hour or 2
