Have we learned nothing Blizzard??? I finished the new story on my warlock, and now I log onto my Shaman and it’s forcing me to do the old questline from 10.1.7 to then do the new 10.2 questline, to ONLY THEN let me use the portal in Ohnaran plains to the emerald dream.
Where is “I’ve heard this story before.”
Why do you want me to do this on all 13 of my level 70s. Why don’t you understand I will quit before I do a stupid storyline 13 times.

Update: Although there is no skip as such, alts can head to the Green dragon section of Valdrakken and take a portal to the Emerald Dream.
You will need to keep the 10.1.7 breadcrumb quest accepted though, if you abandon it, it will spam you every time you go to Valdrakken with a push quest for talking to Shandris.
After doing the beginning quest on my main, I did the quest on my alt and found a scouting report (along with a button to the side of my questline) in my inventory that allowed me to skip right to the portal to the Emerald Dream
