I have killed raz heroic 8 times, normal 10, lfr since it has been out. We literally stack 30 people for normal and heroic. I can only kill one mythic boss in my 5/8 mythic guild bc I only want a heroic vault. So all those fuucking chances and no bow yet. LFR is over 4700 dps over my mythic eronog bow. Heroic is 8400 DPS!!! How the hell do you tune a class around a drop like that. If you are a hunter without the bow in a mythic progression guild you are hindering your guild. It’s dumb, so fuucking dumb that there isn’t a way to grind it. Holy shiit do we even have a hunter dev.

I feel your pain my friend … taking a serious step back from the game until they fix these issues …. If we could farm or dedicate more time to get the bow, no problem. But unfortunately they’re not allowing us to farm the bow to stay competitive with the other classes. Add lack of defensive to this scenario and it makes for an unplayable class. Good luck getting what you’re after and Blizz, please email me when you’ve fixed these issues as I’d love to come back and play again.

Yep, it’s pretty dumb and feels bad if rng isn’t in your favor. I don’t expect Blizz will ever address it though. Gotta keep people chasing the carrot.
Thats how it works good thing you werent around in vanilla. Not everyone gets a super rare drop. Its the entire point of it

No other class has a super rare on the loot table , just be haopy its there. You are not owed the bow

The class is balanced around having the bow, I was around in vanilla and the bow is far from very rare compared to those items you had to grind and complete. A hunter without the raz bow is not viable in high end content. You are comparing apples and oranges. And there are other “super rare” drops none of those add 8k dps to a class.

No, I am not happy it’s there. If they nerfed it, made it easier to get, or just took it out, I would be thrilled. This is the second time we’ve had to farm a rare weapon from the last boss of the raid. And this time, you’re not even able to compete in dps if you don’t have the bow. I would love it if Blizz gave the rare dps increasing weapon to another class (just please not lock since I’m switching next season) so then others can see just how unfun it is to have no way other than rng to get your BIS weapon that’s just a straight up dps increase that your class is balanced around.

am i missing something? wouldnt 6/8M / 4/8 giving 2-3 mythic vaults be better or does this silly bow have diff drop %'s on mythic vault compared to heroic? one would assume its the same % chance to get the bow from vault no matter the difficulty
If you fill all three vault slots with mythic level gear without having killed mythic Raz than there is no possibilty of seeing mythic bow in those slots and because the slots are mythic the lfr/normal/heroic versions are now locked out of being there since those slots will now only drop mythic gear.
This very bad game design encourages hunters to not progress with their guild. It’s quite absurd.

well thats silly, didnt think the vault was locked to needing a kill on a specific boss for the specific loot since ive had stuff in the vault from bosses i hadnt nuked yet.
You are supposed to buy mythic carries for 3,000$ for the bow stupid, otherwise take a rusty razor blade and start digging it into your wrist because they added 30% haste to a bow and that is factored into each spell in the kit since the beginning of the expansion, totally braindead devs

It it was tier its different rules. If it wasn’t there are theories some bosses our paired together in the vault loot table if they drop same ilvl stuff… that’s kind of unclear.
So youre just mad some got it therefore it should be temoved entirely from the game. Let me guess you were born after 1999

I’m annoyed since it’s week 10 and I can’t get it to drop(it also hasn’t dropped on any of my other hunters), so this toon has been benched in favor of my demo lock who does better since demo isn’t gimped by a rare weapon from the last boss of the raid since bm is balanced around that.
I’d also be fine with it if they added a dinar system, made it so you can turn a weapon into the bow via the catalyst, increased the drop chance, and yeah nerfed it would be nice. Just something would be better than how it currently is.

Lucky gear from easy content (lfr) should NEVER be better than gear from harder content. Some people have gotten the bow by doing 5 time walking dungeons…
I was born in 1984. First MMO was EverQuest. And I only PvP so I don’t even care about the bow. Come at me, bro.

They can get it from the weekly quest rewards
Blizzard please do something. It’s the end of the season, let us bad luck players, have some way of obtaining it other than RNG. ATM i need to sit out mythic raid just to have vault chances of this drop.
