I tried to make a character with the word “king” in it and it kept saying this name contains mature language. Why? What is so wrong about the word “king” and letting players use it in their name? Out of curiosity I tried using the word “queen” in several different ways but instead of “mature language” it simply said that the name is unavailable. Well I used variations of my own character names and I am almost certain that the names I tried to make are not taken. So something is very weird about this and I hope this isn’t another one of those “its offensive” things.

Its… a word. I’ve seen so many variables of names and words in this game that a word like king or queen is nothing compared to it. There is no reason in a fantasy game I shouldn’t be able to name my character something with king or queen in it.
Put them on ignore. They have nothing valuable to add to these forums anyway.
Anyway, you aren’t allowed to use titles in your name. That seems to have been taken out of the official rules, but it still applies.

Don’t shoot the messenger, besides my knowledge of RPG is limited, but I’m pretty sure title in name is a no go in RPG. As to why? Ask a Rper.

No titles allowed in names.
As others said, we are not allowed to use titles in our character names. It is built into the filter system. The filter does not always do a good job telling you why the name can’t be used. It is not “mature”, just a title. Titles are reserved for NPCs and for the Achivement title system.

The crazy thing is that the naming policy on the website doesn’t mention titles not being allowed:

It used to be there and was in the TOS when the filters were made. They just don’t mention it anymore.

I mean you could try ascii characters though you may or may not get flagged later, or use non english works like kung which is swedish for king
You also cannot name your hunter pets Mr-something. 
I just wanted to call him Mrtickles.
