Between the Emerald Nightmare, G’huun, N’zoth and Nyan’lotha there’s just too much red in the Void.
Red is a really hot color! The void should be blue!

Red is much lower energy than blue.
The old gods have this red flare. While raw void has this blue-purple hue.
Yes, but energy scales with frequency:
E = h f
and red’s frequency (4.3 E 14 Hz) is lower than blue’s (6.6 E 14 Hz).
So blue light clearly has more energy.
Except WoW is art. So it’s the art stuff that matters.
Red is also the color of love. The Old Gods are friends!
Personally, the void should be a really rather unpleasant plaid.
You have red hair, animal humper.
Well I have some speculations of my own. Although pretty much out of date, I still enjoy doing Legion content. There was a blood planet I was exploring, while clearing the area, I’ve seen an Old God tentacle sprout from one of the blood puddles.
I can possibly say that red energy is obviously Blood Magic; due to Blood itself originating from the curse of flesh.
… Or it could really be nothing important.
Things that are red go faster.
The void is fast.
Therefore, void is red. Science.
A blue flame is hotter than a red flame
Bye hottest to coolest
White
blue
orange
red
Tho that’s with out chemical factors
Why do undead eyes glow yellow? Why do arcane magic users’ eyes glow blue? Why do demon hunters exist?
It’s best not to think too much on these matters.
Because bad things happen.
Shouldn’t the Void, be devoid of color?
Sorry, I’ll show myself out.
In-universe, the void should be black.
But pure black is boring and artists frequently paint shadows dark purple or dark blue to make them look more interesting.
That’s why the Void should be dark blue or dark purple!
Is pretty weird.
I always figured Void was just literally Space. The darkness between worlds and stars. The way it looks like when we go to Void places anyway.
Wow, reported. Also reporting for your name.
