What exactly has it improved? As far as I can tell nothing has changed other than EVERYTHING being more expensive now.
What exactly is the great thing this change did that has so many forums trolls arguing to keep it?

All the bots are back, inflation is worse, just as many boosts but now they charge more.
Pretty good all around, yeah know, if you are a bot.
Actually, on my realm, it lowered the price of a lot of goods.
It also returned a lot of players to the open world for leveling and farming.
More levelers are willing to join my groups now. It has been a complete victory for the game and the return to an authetnic classic feel.
I personally believe that the change was targeted at xp farming and they just tossed botting out there because it would be more palatable to the community.
Yep, only impact is punishing the hard core and min/max players for playing WoW.
It’s really annoying. I wanted to toy around with mcp on my pally and has to use 15 of 30 lockouts for a single one.
People hate bots, but bots do keep costs of mats lower
Is what it is
What realm is this and what goods in particular?
Created forum threads for our amusement, without actually harming the game.
So the main benefit is that the trolls are amused. I can live with that… XD
Yeah…that hasn’t been my experience at all but it’s anecdotal. The prices of major mana pots and righteous orbs have doubled on my server. I’ve seen more bots running around in the open world over the past 2 weeks than I have in 9 months of playing classic.
Yeah this wasn’t thought through at all. I think the guy above was mistake open world bots for actual players
I honestly think this is just another complain strategy by the same people trying to throw everything but the kitchen sink to try and convince Blizz to stop the 30 lockout. Not to mention, they are straight out lying about the number of boosts. Boosts advertisements are down like 90% and only really a lot of them on weekend. I haven’t really seen any change in the market, and the reason mana pots are going up, is because of the boosting. People know mages need them, and charge for them. I can’t wait to see what crazy argument they come up with next.
The prices are up because there are less mats available you dunce
There hasn’t been any major spike in mat prices on my server, and if it is such a problem get your lazy butt out and herb the mats yourself. Otherwise, deal with it. Because the 30 limit lockout isn’t going to change. Now go and log into another avatar so you can straw man the issue even more.
Maybe you should level to 60 and farm me some mage boy
You clearly have no clue what you’re talking about lol.
The reason mana pots are going up is because of the bot ban wave. Bots were farming dire maul tribute to sell mana pots. They increased the supply by a significant amount, reducing the price. Mages don’t have to use mana pots for boosting at all, hell they barely need to use mana pots at all in raiding. They have mana gems and most fights are too short to require them. Healers use them all the time in raids…
I have personally seen way more bots than ever before running around the world in the past two weeks. All you have to do is go to winterpsring late at night and you can find them all over the place.
except when ah bots have enough capital to flip entire market and relist items at 500% markup
Nothing that couldnt already be done by mass farming mages. Players control and gouge markets just as bad if not worse than bots ever did. Thats why BL got so out of control and got addressed
It’s not good.
But people pretend it is because people they don’t like are affected.
