Never had this much lag and issues in DF and Graphics card ram everything has been upgraded

Is it lag or frame drops?
If the latter, double check that you don’t have the addon Mplus Gains. Delete it if you do.

its only in PVP matches and when it has like 40 people at 1 spot mainly the Epic BG ones the one at hanger and wintergrasp

I have been getting nearly 5000ms tonight
Could be a problem anywhere between your computer and Blizzard. A ping report (usually posted to the Tech support forum) will usually reveal where the packet loss is happening.
considering everyone in chat even comments they get massive lag at same time as i do…def not my computer as i also upgraded everything to newest stuff before TWW retail beta as we are calling this now launched so its def the game/blizzard as this has also started in TWW retail beta and didnt have any of this issue in DF doing the same BG’s etc

6500ms world server ping tonight in Epic bgs, no addons, nothing else at all running on my internet connection at all, cache etc cleaned and file integrity check for retail completed.
This is after I completed a full test and reset on my router in conjunction with my isp and and also my tcp/ip configuration, stripped right back. and no ipv6 enabled
I have a feeling this is something between oceanic and the us west connection which of course we dont have control of.
After exiting out and logging back in again latency drops to 85ms local and 140ms world.

Only guessing but that looks like 20% packet loss
im running an rtx 4080
ISP is 2 degrees NZ
Character is on barth, I tested logging into one of my characters on Tichondrius and the lag doesnt go away
In fact it gets worse but reverses the lag to 677 ms local and 276 ms world , this is just sitting on my mount in valdrakken.
Latency settles to local at 325-400 ms and world at around 475-500 ms , still just sitting on mount, I havent touched the game controls other than to hover over latency.
I played on Us West servers for years at a solid 150-180ms from the same isp for last ten years in same city.
Something is def up.
If we only look at those 3 hops of your network, there’s a big problem inside the building with you. Your ping should never be over 10ms on a hop that starts with 192 (home network address).
Thats at my ISP, its CGnat.
The external ip from them is 161.29.134.72.
This might have to be the end of the road for me, I am not confident that my isp or esp blizzard will really care to do anything, its self selection and if my stuff is lagging to 3000 -6500 ms , and you want to say its my isp magically pushing me from 110ms to 3000-6500ms then its pretty clear no one is really interested to help me Last night things were solid at 150ms,
Today when load is higher multiple players are desyncing in epic bgs again.
They cant release, cant even leave the match and are typing this in the match to the other players.
If you are having US customers who are in the same boat as me and they also cant get any assistance, I can see the writing on the wall for those offshore.
I get it , customer demand is high enough from so many players that those who are lagging will just be essentially ignored as annoying.
Fine, ill just stop asking for help, but i see the forums are stacked with people with similar issues.
20% packet loss from US West isnt me, i can guarantee that much.
Maybe you’ll are on an economy drive and interfaces are overloaded with so much demand and its easier to let enough people quit till it all balances out rather than increase your capability.
Im certain something is not right and its out of my control 100%, This all started with -this- xpac.
I have no addons running.
Literally nothing else on my connection other than the game itself.
I’m happy for you to pour water on my shoes and tell me its raining if that’s what you are being instructed to do.
But in 18 years of play i have been able to connect from the same city and play on US WEST servers at between 150ms-180ms consistently.

I am truly sorry i forget this forum is just where we get to express frustration at the issues we face and offer each other ideas to overcome these issues.
I am not giving up yet , I ordered a raw fibre connection today and a new router so i can get out from behind Cgnat.
Still makes me sad that new ‘features’ just keep getting added for the sake of it and we seem to end up with a lesser play experience.
