Why is the hippogryph mount sound so loud?

I have never used hippogryph mounts really, but I decided to use the Legion hippogryph for my new blood elf mage and every time I mount up there is this loud extremely high pitched squealing sound. It ruins the mount.

I feel like Dennis from that ‘Family Fight’ episode of It’s Always Sunny every time I mount up.

You should see the priest class hall mount then, that bird makes the loudest noise ever when you equip it. 🥲

I would like to know why blizz had the mount rock now and why the fireland version the voice was changed.

They can’t help it, they’re very excitable. :frowning:

I dk if rocking sickness is excitable.

I hate that rocking so much! I took a break between launch and 9.2 so idk when they changed all of them. I really like the original hippogryph model so I used them a lot and noticed immediately. Also the walk looks more like a limp now with the uneven timing of its steps. Admittedly I didn’t have any of the newer subspecies until recently (bad rng luck) and idk if that model always had the wobble.
Unarmored rams also wobble since they made the new goat-faced model in SL, and dragonhawks sidewind like a snake for some reason instead of the up-down motion they used to do, it almost looks like you have Joycon drift when flying!

IDK why they keep changing what wasn’t broken.

Blizzard toned it enough that it no longer makes me sick but they still resemble out of control hobbyhorses.

Because they are idiots.

Yes, I know how rude that sounds but it is only explanation for so many bad creative decisions like the ‘updated’ ‘racial’ starter sets.

Hunter class hall flying mount makes a racket too. Some just do.

They changed the noise in BFA and ruined hippogryphs for me, especially the legion mythic dungeon meta one…

Why so loud? 'Cause it knows it shouldn’t be!.. A Hippo AND A Gryph? It’s like HAY THIS AIN’T RIGHT!
