Running LFR Legion raids, even with double loot, every single raid on 12+ characters, can’t collect a single set. Why is the drop rate so bad?

I’d pay attention to what those sets are comprised of.
I think in firelands I had to walk to the vendor at the start of the raid to buy pieces to finish the set, rather than getting a drop. I think I had to buy pieces in Stormwind too for some reason.
Also make sure you’re actually using tier tokens to collect their styles, instead of vendoring them.
And yeah, RNG is RNG.
this has nothing to do with Legion, there are no tokens lol
Some of those sets require items from trash mobs. I think that was a terrible decision but it is what it is.

When you get a transmog item that’s a part of a World Boss only (especially Legion/BfA), thems the breaks. 
The problem Im having is on Elisande… Her loot pool is simply huge, and even with double loot, won’t drop the last 1-2 items I need.
Next run of her will have both of them. I feel it.

I’ve been saying this for hours, and across 12 more characters LOL hasn’t happened. Other players report the same from Trilliax.
Smart getting it all now before legion remix where you will be able to buy everything completely getting rid of any rng. Best to run them now and cry on the forums.
Remix won’t give all of it to you. I did 100% of remix MOP and ATT says I’m 88%, missing a huge amount of stuff.
That’s actually the pep me and my bestie gave each other for the mount runs.
She was tracking her run attempts and was far into ‘unlucky’ territory (more than 50 runs of Jailor and that’s only during this event).
Set items tied to trash mobs is infuriating - some have next to no trash mobs to kill and most don’t even drop anything.

There are many items that got different item id numbers so collection mods are going to show those as missing, MoP remix had everything but the challenge mode sets.
Remix may not give you some weapon appearances but it will give you 100% of the tier sets

It doesn’t give you all the transmog, which for us collectors is kinda the point. Half the bosses in MOP i’m missing 1-3 pieces of mog from that aren’t tier sets. Tier sets are relatively trivial and easy to obtain, you don’t need collector bounty for that even. Collecting all the appearances is the fun part.
Also, anything pre-ICC is pretty egregiously difficult. ICC alone has 4 difficulties, so does TOC. TOC10N, TOC10H, TOC25N, TOC25H. That is incredibly challenging, for example, even with this bounty
If they gave you what you wanted quickly you would stop playing.

Neither challenging or difficult - just time consuming, which is not the same.
And the time consuming part is by design - it doesn’t cost Blizzard anything if players keep themselves occupied chasing low drop chance items tied to content with weekly lockouts.

Isn’t ToC 25 normal appearances the same as TOC 10 heroic appearances?
Part of it is you can still get rings, necks, trinkets and other items that take up loot slots that could have went to mog (though you might have gotten items you still didn’t want with those things removed).

If you can’t easily get 100% of everything, it’s awful FOMO slap in the face! Or maybe you just need to adjust your goals and not fixate on this unhealthy need for your collections tab to hold EVERYTHING.
