Last night I hit 70 on my ret and this war just keep leaping behind the pillar to die.
Only reason he lived in my matches is because I would sac him Insta.

Mostly skill. There is some luck involved with RSS. Being fully geared before you start doing RSS is pretty important now. Managing your MMR is important overall.
As much as it can be annoying, if you don’t know the kill target or who is doing what, you have to clarify that before the round starts. The higher you go, this can become less of an issue, but not always. Some matches it’s obvious what everyones role is.
If you’re a healer that’s not disc that rating can be pretty intense. Usually it’s two good healers and 4 DPS that don’t know what they’re doing so going 4-2 is hard. If you’re a DPS it’s probably easier to climb out of

Yea I really think once dampening hits 40% or something both healers should get the win. Highest I’ve seen is like 70% dampening

I wish I knew… Did the inflation push many former glads into low ratings?
Deflation pushes everybody lower, just not in shuffle.
This evening I climbed from 1100 to 1600s, once the clock hits midnight US time, its ALL teams of multi glad players. Last match they had a conversation like they knew one another in game, their addons were also speaking in chat but I could not read it, was a foreign language. Its weird, and happens every night.

I think it entirely depends on the region you play in. On oceanic servers, everyone left playing is a 20 year veteran and everygame is sweaty. Doesnt matter if its cod, fortnite or wow…every single game you play during prime time is like everyone is gunning for a world championship. Guides in Australia even talk about using a vpn to get onto USA servers to get easy wins.
It is so weird watching pikaboo and cdew play healers and they barely get interrupted. Meanwhile i will try to cast repentance which has a 1.4 sec cast time and the dps will drop everything and interrupt every single time, they will even run half way across the arena map to do so. This is why addons need to be banned.

oceanic playerbase are not even close to as good as the usa playerbase as their population is far too limited. the chance of good players is just too low. i guess they can farm the loads of bad players here as there are many thanks to the population. they won’t be farming higher rated players though as they are just as good as high rated players anywhere else and there are more of them.
Its the otherway around. Only hardcore players are left playing on oceanic, means the % of good players far outweighs the bad. In the usa, you still have new players joining everyday, plus being a overweight nation, means they are slower at everything which is bad in this burst meta.

My favorite are the matches when both the healers go oom then a dps blames the healers when someone finally dies.
Ive had a few matches i yolo’d a leg sweep for a win cause the mana tank was dry
