Because they have literally zero mobility and have to hardcast a lot.
That kind of necessitates being able to take a hit.

It would be very interesting to see you attempt to play shadow into a melee cleave and talk about “training wheels.”
The perspective of actually playing things you have trouble with generally makes one a better and more well-rounded player, rather than a reactionary fool.

People really need to stop with this asinine stance that Shadow priest is a tank spec. Shadow priests will never have comparable survivability to tank specs. Tank specs take 60% extra damage in pvp, Shadow does not.

I am sick to death of shadow priest being completely immortal god in solo shuffle. Same with aff locks. They are CLOTH wearers. Let them take some damage.
