I see many players complaining that it’s a much worse version of MOP remix. What did they get wrong this time that wasn’t in MOP remix? Is it like, the time gating? lack of rewards?

Because it’s set in the expansion that introduced the 2 worst, repetitive, unfun cancers to WoW: WQs and M+ and set the latter as a major source of power. Didn’t have to do that crap in MoP

My only problem is they took away the ability to transfer characters over to retail which is the only reason I leveled up multiple

because it takes years to get to max power and bronze because its timegated.
at this point i was finished in pandaria and playing wow retail again. now i farm raids every single day. boring af

WQ was a upgrade from the old daily system. Dont know why you complain about that.
For me, remix is really fun. Legion was mostly about order hall, artefact and suramar so if you only focuse on one character and just one spec or even dont complete suramar campaign, than you are kind of playing legion wrong.

I am enjoying it, but I think I liked the first one better because it was less complicated.
Farm bronze and threads. That’s it.
I do like that we don’t have to decide between upgrading our gear or buying toys w/ the bronze, but it feels like they made upgrading gear needlessly more complicated.

Still alt unfriendly.
Still grindy as hell.
Fixing either one of those would tremendously help the other.
Running a daily mythic raid with account-wide IP means at least there’s the option of variety.
Capping out one character early means it wouldn’t be so tedious on an alt and can use any of them for daily bronze stuff.

One of the things I don’t like is that the housing stuff isn’t already on the vendor so you can see if you want to buy it (or copies of it). I don’t know if I need to farm a bit more bronze or a ton more bronze (like in the millions).

The time gating sucks, RNG gear upgrading is a downgrade (not sharing currency with cosmetics is an improvement), the ‘must run mythic raids every day or expect to take orders of magnitude longer to power up’ design is asinine.

- It’s full of systems designed to waste time.
- It’s overly timegated.
- Gotta do more to get the same rewards (eg clearing a whole map of quests to get IK)
Gearing is legit unbearable on alts. In MoP you could gear an alt much easier. In here, it’s a nightmare. Also the perk play in remix was significantly better. But I suppose it’s only fitting that we’re getting awful systems in the expansion that introduced system overload into the game.

I think its because some sweatlords have tried to turn it into a serious game mode with mythic +. Groups asking for high ilevel to raid face roll mythics, people selling mythic plus runs, achievements that are completely out of reach for the casual player. Its catering too much to sweatlords, the fun of MOP was that you could complete all of it with casual play and have fun. This remix is too much like retail.

I think there are achievements for leveling every class to 80, and another for completing mythic 49 that is a FOS. I could be wrong. Also , allowing early players to get portals and then nerfing them so now nobody else can get them.
