Am I missing something? Was there something preventing players from stopping drinks in TBC?
am i missing something? why are we talking about TBC
ah shucks pranks on me that post was post 22 i digress
I dunno tbh. Someone said something about s2 and s3 and im just now realizing that maybe they mean s2 / s3 of this expansion.
yea i think so
anyway smeld is really gamebreakingly good on the right classes in the right hands ur a baboon if u think otherwise
Yeah its definitely good on rogue/feral, not saying it isn’t just saying its not broken. Human / Orc racials imo are most the oppressive overall.
looks like we disagree i think ur incorrect
Its actually absurd to see a racial that is good in pvp and mdi didn’t get nerfed.
Is it just because games won on the extra garrote/sap? Or is there other reasons why you think that?
You do know you can do more with meld other than just extra garrote right?
I mean you can meld casts and stuff. If thats what you’re hinting at. But yeah curious as to what else it can do.
it has incredible defensive value because, when timed correctly, you can completely nullify CCs/big dam abilities/trinkets as well as the offensive value as well as a free combat dropper for drinks
even if you stop a drink from happening it completely changes the tempo of the game and can win or lose you the game
You can meld any debuff that proc on a timer, its literally meta jump on a 2 minute cooldown.
Any ability with a telegraph can be avoided.
what do you mean proc on a timer? like a dot?
touch of death
oh i see, damn thats actually nasty lol
Basically Meld have invulnerability frame, so things that proc on a timer like Touch of Death or old Reaper, you can just time it easily.
bfa s2 maledict was the entire meta and you could smeld one on every go? iirc and it was a ton of pressure to not have to deal with a 3rd mally
that’s when a ton of good teams went ally. horde r1 was almost 100? pts higher dread season; bfa s2 it had completely reversed such that ally was 50 or so points higher, among other reasons. bfa s3 (a year later roughly) it was 120 pts higher ally
Gotcha, makes a bit more sense now why its hated. havent played arena really since season 5 wrath. I dunno tho still, actually hate hardiness / everyman(relent) as rmp, a couple extra seconds is all you need on some goes. but yeah i guess smeld can be busted vs certain comps. the more ya know.
High end PvE really only consists of dungeons and raids. It’s REALLY good for dungeons and just OK for raids.
Says the point eared human.
