Why is Nathanos Blightcaller just the absolute worst?

When you do 7th Legion world quests, they have nothing but nice, positive things to say.

Good job, soldier. Your valiant efforts are a credit to the Alliance.

Nathanos has nothing good to say ever. All he ever does is chastise you for being garbage.

Oh, lad dee da, you completed the mission. Maybe if you didn’t suck so hard you would have done it faster.

At one point in the war campaign he even tells you to off by saying “go be useful elsewhere” in the most patronizing tone ever. this guy, seriously.

Is there an addon that lets me mute Nathanos, specifically? I know I can just turn voice dialogue off entirely. I really want Honorbound rep but listening to him piss and moan after every single quest is getting super annoying.

I just want Mag’har and Zandalari, damn it.

There must be an option to replace all of his voice over lines with donkey braying sounds… Wouldn’t make any difference down the line anyway.

There is no character I hate more in the game than Nathanos. I would give anything to be able to kill him. He’s nothing but condescending which is odd since him and Sylvanas apparently need to ask me to handle every little thing. The only times I can think of Nathanos doing anything is when he got #wrekt by Greymane back in Stormheim. His only claim to fame is that hes shacking with the Warchief. He’s basically just a self-important glorified consort. But oh no we’ve got trouble again better go ask the hero for help but can’t let the hero forget that I’M the one Sylvanas comes home to at night so they better remember their place blahblahblah.

Tldr I hate him.

Edit: I suppose he helps out with Jaina? After players do most of the work.

well. . . How do you think masters treat their lapdogs? . . . The horde are just dogs for Sylvanas and Nathanos . . . in fact im not even surprised at all for real.

Even in the alliance we treat our puppies better. . . does not right my little worgens :wink:

Fandral Staghelm, yes, I remember him from questing on my Alliance character long ago. It was a joy…a joy to kill him, may the Horde one day come to know the joy of killing Nathanos.

Nathanos just has that voice like the professor in Feriss Bueller’s Day Off. Its monotone. In the war campaign and other situations he comes off as arrogant and degrading. The WQ’s in Arathi Highlands and some BFA areas he has that monotone.

Hes Sylvanas’s pet. I cannot wait until we deal with her and her ridicolous pet. Nothing but scum under my feet & in the way. GTFO

I don’t like him personally. But it’s a war and I clearly understand why he is that way. And I love how Blizzards created him. I believe his reaction completely. I just hate him with all my love.
Same goes for Sylvanas. I will not be siding with her bullcrap, but I love how she all edgy and dark and gloomy. She is a good developed character, which fall into some dark deeds and doesn’t tell anyone except his loyal dog Nathanos about her plans and that is why Horde doesn’t trust her.
I still waiting the big reveal. Blizzards just can’t slap “mother Gothel” label on her. She MUST has some explanation why she acting this way. And even when everyone against their plans, I still believe that she has a good point to make in favor of her/his actions.
