Why is Mythic Lockout ID on Legacy Raids?

Is there a particular reason that Mythic legacy raids still use the lockout ID? It allows players to get screwed over by those that don’t stay for the whole raid. I’m not really sure what reasoning there would be to have it for legacy content.

It makes it unnecessarily harder to collect transmog items or try to get a mount. I don’t see why Mythic has to be different than Normal and Heroic, where you just get your one loot per boss, per week. Now I’m stuck with more or less a dead lockout and have lost a week of looting opportunity on bosses.

I’d really like to see some actual justification on this besides “That’s just how it is.” If the content isn’t able to be done solo, then at the very least, don’t force me to rely on PUGs actually staying the whole time to not screw me over.

becuz blizz sux and why isn’t mythic battle puggable either
“because guild reasons”

Just a heads up Legion stuff is not classified under the “Legacy Raids” because it is only one xpac behind. IT needs to be 11 levels lower than you to count towards the system.
