I just acquired the trapped stone fiend pet from Rivendreth and tried to name it Mr. Pebbles only to be met with “That name contains mature language. Enter a new name” in red text. After some trial and error I have discovered both “Mister” and “Mr.” are considered “mature language” and thus cannot be used.
Personally I find this ridiculous and would like to be able to name my cool little stone bro Mr. Pebbles, what is wrong with being a “Mr.” something?

Probably something to do with the gender crap…

Probably Oceanic slang for something gross.
I’ve typed in some pretty ridiculous stuff that contains “mature language” before. I can’t recall any examples, but I do remember squinting at my screen.
titles like ‘king’ ,‘mr’, ‘mister’ have long been prohibited to use as in-game names

Pet Naming Rules
* A Hunter pet name must be between 2-12 characters long. Companion pet names must be between 2-16 characters long.
* Accented characters are supported.
* Numbers and symbols are not supported.
* Mixed capitals can only be used in Hunter pet names.
* Spaces can only be used in companion pet names, and all initial letters are capitalized automatically.
It looks like the name you want conflicts with the naming rules about no special characters and using spaces in the name.

If it is I havnt heard of it haha.
But to the OP isn’t titles not allowed? King, Lord and so forth.
Have you tried names like “Misterpebbles”? As the post above says, character and pet names can’t have spaces or periods in them.
That means “Mr.Pebbles” is not a valid name: it has a period in it. And you can’t capitalize letters: only the first letter is capitalized.
That’s why one of my characters is “Riverelf” instead of “River Elf”.
“Mature language” is just how they label any kind of blocked word.
Mister is blocked because they don’t want you putting titles in your name, and pets have the same naming rules as players aside from the need to be unique.
