Why is melee trinket in the ranged loot table?

So anyone know why Bandolier of Twisted Blades from the raid part of the marks and BM loot table? Opened the chest from the end of the weekly and that stupid thing comes out. Its on use is only able to be done in melee range. So why is this part of the ranged loot table when your not often gonna be in melee?

Blizzard made it possible for any items that can be used by any Hunter spec to be looted.

This, the weekly box gave me a 2h melee weapon <_<
not like it matters much for me since i out gear normal stuff now, but that will suck when we get the heroic box

I mean damage wise it’s great and you could just stand in melee you don’t HAVE to stand way back.

I got it from the raid. Ive been applying it and disengaging after. It really isnt a bad trinket. Just approach with rapid fire, apply, pop back and continue, you dont lose much. You dont HAVE to disengage, i just hate playing MM in melee range

this, i read online its like A or B tier for even the range hunter spec
