Sys admin here for hospitals, just my two cents worth but any time we needed to do standard windows updates, it could take a couple hours easy to check and restart virtual servers needed to run an environment. An old school ehr we had ran from 40 virtuals and only handled about 6k unique patient records.
Imagine the number of servers (well beyond the realm names we see) it actually takes to run game worlds for hundreds of thousands of players and any time maintenance is less than a full day is somewhat astounding.
