Shouldn’t it be the real classic experience and take long to level up? I remember the first time playing WoW and being amazed by the adventure and grind and figuring out which areas to go to and which quests to do in what order.

I don’t recall this being mentioned anywhere today. I do remember them saying that the expectation was to be a slow journey with lots to do in between.

There will be new sones and quests. As far as we know they could increase the xp required per level.

After a short time in Vanilla Classic, boosting became fairly common. Apparently the journey only included one run thru to cap.
So looks like he asked A.I. I am seeing the screenshot again. Can I post it here?
I hope they don’t increase the XP required that would just make more of an economy for boosting and crap.
Plus the reason for new quests is because of those dead area’s increasing the exp required to level would kill the reason for the new quests.

Maybe they just had it ramped up for Blizzcon so people could get a few skills earned quicker when they were trying it out in their gameroom. Just my guess..

For context he dislikes slow level grind so he asked that to A.I. I argued with him that I like it and its better than current leveling in retail where the world itself is a challenge.
Yeah… No quest droughts so the exp flows faster meaning the time to hit 60 will be reduced with more quests it modernizes the flow…
You’re not going to need to grind mobs to level because you ran out of quests…
Smoother and faster leveling is good.

well i was so happy for this but now hearing they r just making it just as faster to lvl just stinks why cant they just leave the lvling the way it should be we all asked for classic. classic is about the journey not the destination

If this is true, it will be the death knell for Forever. The greatness of classic is the struggle and grind to 60. Accelerated leveling will lessen the sense of achievement and cheapen the experience. I would love to see a slower progression with just enough quests to keep you moving. The worst feeling was out leveling a zone too early.

AI always wants to make you happy. You can get it to tell you wrong things based on how you ask it.
Dumb example, but I asked it where to put my gathering skillpoints in retail after I unlocked mounted gathering and it told me to fully max out a new tree for 40 points and then go back to unlock another thing that costs 20 points.
and I said - well I have 20 points now, would it be a good idea to just fully unlock this other thing first? and the AI said yes! that’s a great idea, what a creative way to think!
But then I asked it again what’s actually better… are you just agreeing with me to be agreeable? and it basically yes.. I’m just agreeing to be agreeable and I just gave you bad advice - really it’s better to spend the 40 points first in the other tree.
