Why is Leech even in the game? Why eliminate the healing role?

Are you trying to eliminate the healing role or just make us so bored we fall asleep until there’s a random one-shot mechanic we’re “supposed” to press button X to prevent. You know how dull, boring, and dumbed down this is getting? In vanilla it is a necessity to have a healer in the group, and sometimes when even facing more than 1 mob. Grouping was integral to succeeding in the game. Blizzard, by dumbing the mechanics down and making your workday easier you are LITERALLY killing the game. People have left in droves, the population is dropping to all time lows, if classic wasnt released bfa would be so dead…

Get it together, blizzard. Stop dumbing the game down, and damnit stop homoginizing mechanics/classes/ect.

Can leech do 25K HPS? Can leech heal you 150K in a single heal when you get whacked with something big?

No of course not. But players do have self healing, it’s no leech, but it’s something in built into their role that allows them to self heal so when they are out and about they don’t fall over at each mob they run into.

Players can gear up and go into low level content and not need healers for sure, but there is literally one person I know who is on another level and can tank as a paladin in high keys without a healer.

In every other form of content that is appropriate to your iLVL, you need a healer.

It’s not just leech, it’s self sustain in general. Instant 20% shields for mage, passive self healing for fury as part of the rotation, 30% heal on a 30s cooldown for rogue, etc.
Ironically, hybrid classes have a harder time self healing since they have to stop dps and can be interrupted.

This is partially why Bfa makes absolutely no sense from a class design point of view and constantly gets bashed.

Pure dps keep all the perks of it while having more reliable sustain.

is literally possible.

Leech does not ‘eliminate the healing role’ you cannot even get leech high enough to effectively do that.

It does provide some self-sustain, but it’s not that powerful.

Well said.

Actually it does, some MDI challengers were testing 4 dps + tank comps. Blizzard had to step in and force the 3 dps, 1 tank, 1 healer comp.

To make DHs even more broken, of course.

I can’t even imagine how much leech you would need to replace a healer. I have a feeling you probably couldn’t acquire that amount under any circumstance.

I will trade crimson vial to make rogues top single target damage and not average/middle of the pack

You want to be manacled to other players for every kind of content, go play classic. Quit trying to monkey with this game.

I wonder how much leech you could get with leech corruptions leech on every item stacking the azrite trait for leech and using the enchant and like leeching poisons

In legion was possible, granted not all slots were your correct type of gear but there were 101s that were soloing dungeons.

Every single tank can pretty much do that much hps with essences, azerite, and leech.

Go play classic if you want to be dependent on a healer for your gaming life.

Leech is one of the most fun and badass rare secondary stats in the game period at the very least to me, when you see leech on appear on a piece of gear you are never mad about it.

Don’t act as if it was super OP and made a healer worthless in raids or any level of Mythic+ now if you are talking about normal or even heroic dungeons, people can solo them without leech. lol

You should go after versatility instead since versatility technically “heal” or in this case legit negate far more damage that leech could ever heal especially if someone is stack with it.

SILENCE! I love leech.

Well…that DH leech can heal from 1% to 100% in a couple of seconds when using meme beam ^^
