Why is it so hard to get people to sign guild charters x.x

I’ve been trying for the past few days to get my charter signed so I can have a guild bank but no one bats an eye when I’m asking and offering gold >.<

Everytime ive had a charter ive gotten it filled in minutes. Just sprint around signing up random unguilded people until 5 say yes.

Starting zones are good for that.

Usually the requests I see are for people on different realms which I don’t have a character on. It’s been a long time since I saw a request on one of mine.

I try to sign them when I see people ask, because I remember trying to set up my bank guilds.

It usually depends on what I am doing. If I am just passing through town, probably not. But if I am just chillin or posting auctions or organizing my banks - I will gladly take the time to help out.

Made a bank guild in Wrath, and it cost about 20g for sigs. Made one in Shadowlands and paid nearly 60,000g, and those sigs were hard to find.

You can also try Trade chat. My Guild already had 7 tabs unlocked when I bought it. I was in Orgrimmar and saw in Trade “Looking to sell Bank Guild With 7taba unlocked.”.

Just bring bags to starter areas. They always sign charters for bags.

That’s always the question. I can make over 500g for 1 Dragon Flying quest…so you’d have to offer a lot more than that to make it worth anyone’s time.

Also, we’re in a lull until S4 starts, so you probably don’t have a lot of people online in the first place. I’ve probably have been online for less than 10 minutes this week.

Well usually people sign guild charters when its the founders of the guild ( people who will be in guild and you have non ) since you trying to find random people who will not be in your guild , people might not want to do so, unless you give them something

Yea but thats not alot of gold since leggos where going for that much or more and you had to get one every damn patch , i made my guild in SL and i was paying 2k-5k per sig

Maybe on my main server, but I have low level alts all over. I might be persuaded for a lot less in some cases.

Yeah! In the past when I made guilds for my alts I’d just go to Northshire and offer a fairly generous amount. Like at least 1000g per signature. (Back then that amount of gold was worth more!)

Go to starter zone and offer a good amount of gold per sig. The value of gold is a joke now so you may need to bump it up a good amount. But even that isn’t a guarantee.

A lot of players are already in guilds too or if they made an alt they plan to put the alt in their own guild for the mutual bank. Then with cross-realm it can be a bit hard to find someone unguilded on your server. I usually offer 5k per sig in the starting zone and it doesn’t take too long.

Try major cities or starting zones. You’re more likely to snag a lower level, especially if you’re offering gold. I’d suggest asking them first rather than just spamming them with the charter because most people ignore it.

I really wish guilds weren’t restricted by server. So many cool guilds I can’t join or even help create.
