Why is it Cheaper to buy BFA Complete collection to get 110 boosts

I would absolutely resub and buy a few 110 boosts but I’m sitting in awe wondering why 110 boosts are normal price at 60$
how ever you can buy BFA with 30 days for only 39.99 and it comes with a 110 boost… You can even use the 110 boost on any account within the master account
IE i could buy 6 more full copies of the game and get 6 more tokens at 39.99… WHY??
I don’t want to have 8 Wow accounts to buy a few boosts.

VThe BfA complete edition is currently on sale for $20 off. The boost alone, isn’t on sale.

They did something similar to this once before.
As you can have up to 8 wow licenses on a single battle.net account, it still works out to getting a boost for $40 while the sale lasts.

Don’t play the new accounts and, after you use the boost on your main wow account, submit a ticket to billing to have the additional accounts removed.

They didn’t used to remove wow accounts but I believe that was changed within the last year IIRC.

I understand it leads to getting a discounted boost, however… Kinda makes you wonder why… They could discount the boost… but that would directly make people not forced to level and actually play the content they enjoy… Or Get a sub for buying the full collection bundle for 39.99, boosting their sales of BFA and Subscription count… Blizzard please tell me this selective sale isn’t to pad your numbers so people buy the bundle saving 20$ on a 110 boost couldn’t that mislead shareholders?

This is just a weird side effect of them making the boosts battle. net account wide in Legion.

The price of the boost is as high as it is because they don’t want it to be the “right” option whenever you want a new character. (Which is something they’ve said in the past.) Now, I’m just speculating about this next part, but, with that philosophy, I can see why they wouldn’t want to put it directly on sale. So, you get the weird side effect when the game goes on sale that it can be used for a discounted boost. So, you can get it discounted in a round-about way, but it’s not something that gets advertised to move boosts.
