World PvP, battlegrounds, and even duels, I’ve seen em all and there’s no honor there. It’s more like a do anything to win no matter how shady or underhanded it is. The whole entire PvP system is based off of pure greed and sadism.
It’s bad enough that they have entire realms and servers dedicated to this indecent behavior, but even on PvE realms/servers it’s a pervasive issue. Actually, it’s worse on PvE realms because those players obviously can’t compete with the “real” PvPers.
Then there is the settings of these contests. AV gives players the opportunity to gain “honor” even if they completely avoid fighting other players. It’s basically PvE raiding with PvP rewards, that aren’t even earned but just given away. That won’t stop any bragging or complaining. It just is what it is, broken.
Proof that people will complain about anything.

Roleplay? Keep forgetting this game is an R P G. Killing the opposite faction regardless of fairness is Honor. Your definition of honor is based of your own social construct rules that you have in your imagination and nothing to do with the game. It is indeed honor if you look at it as an RPG element.
Mainstream audience. This is why private servers are a better option.
Same reason Orcs claim “honor” while they brutally massacre innocent people. It’s why the Scourge (i.e. Forsaken) fit so well in the Horde.
Do you RP or care about the story? No? Then don’t worry about it.

I rolled a rogue for a reason, none of them were for honorable actions and behavior by any definition of the word. Maybe it’s just the society I live in that makes me feel that way. Lol

You’re applying the term to you, the person. Honor is RP - it’s honor for your character and their faction in killing the other faction. It seems honorable to me that if you kill your enemy and they keep coming back to life somehow, you would want to make sure they stay dead as best you can.

Most of them ignore this fact. they like to act like no alliance would ever do such things.

Because it was created 15 years ago and was supposed to be fun, not thought of for a game 15 years in the future when sweaty neckbeards broke the game down to the core and studied it from end to end just so you can come here and cry about it.
