Streamers donât get banned for it
Did you report them?
If you didnât, then nothing happens.
If people report, they will get banned.
Modifying game files sets off their automated detection software, and can flag your account for a ban wave.
If they later check and find out it was just Imorph being used in the way it normally is (your personal appearance, not herb nodes or w/e) they will repeal the ban (generally).
Streamers tend to get their bans appealed particularly fast (but this is probably more to do with there being so much video evidence that they werenât doing anything wrong than any sort of special treatment).
You get banned because it sets off a false positive with their hack detection software. Simple as that.
ya im sure out the thousands of people watching no one reported them lol. im on the iMorph discord out of curiosity there have been zero bans since the last âwaveâ and even then they all got unbanned when Blizzard realised they were not bots but using iMorph. The ones who stayed banned were botting AND using imorph to try cover their tracks as an excuse.
except not really since youâre the only one who can see the change. People like exotic mounts to show off. Warden checks the game files to see if theyâve been altered. If they have you most likely will get banned. At least temporarily.
Even the website that provides iMorph states:
- Warning - This software violates Blizzards [EULA] Use of this software can result in the closure of your account.
Cash shop.
no one has actually been banned and had it stick. go on their discord and search the word âbanâ. the only poeple being banned are those actually botting. plus the new version is a non-LUA intrusive build or whatever that works in conjunction with an addon you download, so its unlikely to get caught in blizzardâs bot scanning mechanism. I will probably use it at some stage if Blizzard dont add barbershop / paid character transformation
i tried it out a month back because no character appear change and i was afraid i would get banned. so youre saying its safe?
One of those things Blizzard will neither confirm nor deny, but streamers with gladiator ranking and thousands of viewers have been doing it all season with no ban. From my personal research, anyone who was banned by Blizzards mechanism for ONLY using imorph had it reversed. I personally donât use it, still holding out for barber shop / appearance change service
ill have to resort to imorph if they dont bring it
Doesnât addonâs do that kind of?
Modify game files? Not ones that are within the EULA.
Tell me one name of a streamer using it and weâll see if they get banned or not.
i aint telling u nothin
