Why is her model better/prettier/higher resolution than current player trolls or even zandalari have?

I wish we could look anything like her. MoP previewed a lot of updated models in npcs. But like what trolls actually got pales compares to how beautiful her model is. It feels like the OG to the nightborn problem. Incredibly beautiful and aesthetically pleasing npcs but the PC models are a crappy recolour of night elves. They even lost some of the personality the npcs have. (Where is my eye squint? Why do all the men look like they’re 200 year old human))

Back on topic. Was running ToT for transmog and I envy her look so much. I wish we looked half that good.

Thanks sweetie. Isn’t she gorgeous? She looks like a real troll and has a neutral expression! NEUTRAL EXPRESSION! It’s clear blizzard is capable of it… looking at gnomes you wouldn’t think so. 99% of gnomes look pizzed off. Like we have facial expressions now why do they need to be smiling or frowning, or sneering at a default at all???

My guess is because it is hard to properly animate the face in a model that detailed. The face is more of a painting like our old models were. Our new models have an amazing range of facial animations. I could see that detailed face being a major pain to try and animate and not have it end up looking like a distorted mess the second our characters spoke or laughed.

She does look really cool. I wouldn’t mind seeing the outfit she wearing where you can get it or something.

I still get mad that NPCs look better than our characters models. Anduin, Varok Saurfang, Sylvanas, Jaina and everyone else. Their armors are soooo nice and original. :rage::rage::rage: While we still get these dumb boots that look like slurpy cups. To be fair the some of the Shadowlands sets look better.

I’m hoping with the initiation of additional character customization that we will start to see even more options to make our characters more unique.

which makes no sense, they live on a beach and on islands. They even refered sometimes as island trolls. But whatever, give me forest trolls, i want to be bigger than orc

They used to live on island jungles. But were picked up by thrall crossing the ocean and now live near the orcs in a desert with minimal jungle. Biologically they are still jungle trolls. Trolls however are prone to mutation.

The Darkspear are originally from Stranglethorn Jungle.

The only “attractive” face for ztroll females is the one that looks like Marilyn Manson.

I don’t think that npc is very attractive either. That’s me though.

That’s the model I was hoping you were linking when I saw the preview. It’s one of my favorite models in the game, probably. I love the Zandalari that we got but damn if I wouldn’t kill to look like that.

She got an unobtainable hair style for players and it is so good. Blizzard should have added that hair style in this prepatch barber shop changes but no.

When I first heard about Blizz updating the player character models, I always thought female trolls should have gotten that model. So much curvaceousness.
