Just checked out the new conquest vendor. I play resto druid so my stat prio is mastery/vers. I will have to PvE to fill in 6 of my slots with mastery/vers gear, including my weapon. Meanwhile, people who need haste will have to only PvE to fill in ONE of their slots with haste/vers gear, and every other slot they can buy from the conquest vendor. ???

Are you sure thats your pvp stat priority? Pretty sure haste is a high priority in pvp

Have you tried turning the vendor off, and then back on again?
Also thought rdruids took haste.

I don’t want this thread to turn into a debate about resto druid stat priority, it’s besides the point. Even if my stat prio was haste (it isn’t, it’s mastery), there would still be other classes who don’t have haste as their stat priority, unless you’re trying to argue that haste is the best stat for every spec in the game for PvP.

Priority is vers>haste>mastery for resto druid pvp. I understand your point about the selection of pieces but it shouldnt really matter too much unless you want to do pve. If you want to do pve then your stat priority is mastery. They changed this in beta because most peoples priority is versatility and thats why every piece has versatilty. There was a blue post on it a month or so ago.
Tldr: priority is vers for pvp and thats why

Better question is why is that garbage Versa on everything. Where is the Haste/Mastery and Crit/Mastery gear? Which means hardly any gear available at the vendor and another expac where you need to PvE for BiS.
Why is it so hard to just give us a PvP stat so this silly Versa isn’t taking up a core stat spot on PvP gear. Versa would be okay only if it’s a 3rd stat.

I think vers is 40% increased effect in PvP, so it is essentially the same as resilience - the PvP stat from cata
It’s garbage because it’s only the offensive benefit and the only reason players even used Versa was for the defensive benefit.
It’s also garbage because it’s a Versa amp and if you aren’t stacking Versa then it’s pointless. It needs to be 10% dmg and 10% dmg reduction. Seriously these things aren’t hard.
These vendors are terrible I can’t believe anyone is excited about them. Please just remove Versa from the game…please and thanks.

What is wrong with you? Why would you try to debate me about rdruid stat prio immediately after I say I don’t want to turn the thread into a debate about stat prio??? I used to incorrectly think haste was the best stat like you at the start of bfa and I made the mistake of going full haste and ruining my character, and ended up rerolling toons because of it. My hots ticked for nearly nothing and it was basically unplayable. A quick google search of rdruid pvp stat priority will tell you that it’s mastery above haste, so you’re just straight up wrong. Go away, you’re a nuisance. Coward!

Yea actually we had great vendors in the past. Now we have 1 belt or stat variation on some items… oh geez how nice of them to allow that. Lets jump for joy.

As for the OP, I agree completely. I made a similar post before seeing this but as a mastery/vers stacking spec I definitely get the short end of the stick with 6 items from the vendor, as opposed to 10 items for haste+vers…

Exactly this. It’s fine to NOT get full bis gear from the pvp vendor. But having only 6 items of our stat priority vs other classes having 10 is def unfair and not right.
