It’s so you can see their “Content.”
Then hate it after that, and never do any of their content in that zone ever again.
I’m never doing another quest in Mechagon or Naz’jatar. So much for their content.
I don’t understand why Grinding World Quests is a thing to get flight. It makes no sense to me.
So you’re mad that you haven’t reached what took players 3 months to do in 3 weeks? got it
Because the devs do not want you to fly, but they cant afford the sub loss that happened when they tried to take it away, this is a “compromise”.
because the petulant man child in charge of WoW dev is still upset that his gift to us was rejected badly when we didn’t blindly kiss his boots and be happy
he cant very well take it out on the shareholders or he might find himself gone from WoW next
This is just my opinion of course,
I believe the reputation grind is a bit ridiculous like anyone else, at first it was a pain. Especially learning and dying in the new zone, Nazjatar mostly due to the fall and cliffs. However, after a few days of grinding the quests you develop a sense of familiarity to the zones.
The quests are fairly simple, being a blood dk I am able to solo all of the content and multiple mobs fairly quick.
I learned from playing classic, that retail is being simplified and spoiling the player base, with features like paying for everything great, ultimately taking away any grind. This grind for reputation as much as it might be dreadful, is only a one time deal for account bound flying. If you can’t muster up the commitment for doing dailies and WQ’s for a few weeks, then I don’t believe you deserve the reward.
You know…
If Pathfinder is in Shadowlands, I’m unsubbing. I took a 6 year break back after Mid WoD and I can take another one if they bring Pathfinder back.
I spent from Black Friday to a couple of days ago to grind for Pathfinder. That’s only because I didn’t have to wait that long for it, unlike many others who had to wait months for Pathfinder 2.
Yeah…I might unsubscribe if they introduce this Pathfinder in Shadowlands.
If you want people to “see your content” lol which is bullsshhhhhiiitt because we all know they just want to keep people subbed longer, this isn’t the way to do it.
lmao, i lol’d
Get ready to unsub. It was announced at Blizzcon that pathfinder would be back for Shadowlands. That announcement was met with boos. When the richest and most loyal fans who spent hundreds of dollars to be there boos you…that means the decision is wildly unpopular.
I’m tired of supporting that kind of garbage.
The only painful part is exploring all the zones.
Yea exactly. Not like there’s a time gated rep grind to get through or anything…
Daily quests are painful to you?
By the time I finally got the Nazjatar and Junkgnomes reps done I really had nothing left to fly for so I guess I’ll level an alt or something.
Well darn, I personally didn’t find it too bad. I like that it unlocks it for all characters on your account.
Probably too far into WoW than I should be, exalted all BfA reps on multiple characters.
Sad but true.
Here’s to hoping that the next game director is not quite so self absorbed!
Yes. But by all means keep hitting that lever. You do you.
Roger, will do.
Prolly because flying invalidates something they meant to revitalize with this expansion (world pvp) or something.
Well, I wish you luck in all you future gaming endeavors then.
Flight doesn’t invalidate world PVP. Instanced content that rewards you for PVP does. When PVP players are in battlegrounds and arenas (because that’s how you get PVP gear) and PvE players are in a dungeon or a raid, and no one’s really doing much of anything out in the open world…there’s not going to be anyone out there to kill. With or without flight. The myth that flight killed world PVP needs to die. Battlegrounds killed it long before TBC came along. Arenas finished it off.
