Poorfegs gonna h8 m8.
There is zero legit purpose for /follow in a bg. That’s all the reason I need.
What would you need follow for in a bg?

I mean I think /follow in bgs just promotes griefing. But if it was in vanilla, it should be in classic. Just another exemple of how far blizz is willing to go from no changes
multiboxing by definition is botting. It uses a third party program to copy the input of one keyboard and artificially create any number of identical inputs.
You are correct it is not a current violation of EULA per Blizzard. However, their own reasoning is hypocritical and without merit, as it violates their own rule of 1 click = 1 GCD action.
So it doesn’t really matter what Blizzard ‘says’ other than you’re safe from being banned, for now. At least until they decide they don’t care about that extra multiboxer money.
think you have to run the search over on the old now read only forums
The head of the Hydra, if your are multiboxing.
Any random player, if you were running an AFK follow bot.
other than that? mostly nothing

I see neither of those as “needs”. Sure reeks of cheese though.
I see neither of those as “needs”
Hence i said, “Other than that, mostly nothing”
I did. Googled it, too.
I will look for it later, iirc it was in a mess of a trainwreck thread
No. It isn’t. And /follow being disabled in BGs is one of many ways Classic doesn’t measure up to Vanilla. Again it’s not just /follow, but also no premade BGs, GM response times, quests removed from Classic that were present in Vanilla (Kill Morphaz from Archmage Xylem), NPCs that were removed (Craftsman Willhelm in LHC).
If we’re gonna make things “fair” instead of sticking to the original intent behind Classic, then why stop at removing /follow from BGs?
Why not put guards on Alliance ships? The horde have them on their Zepps.
