Fishing was made that way so simple bots couldn’t use it to print money.
Personally, and I understand it is merely my opinion, I like fishing the way it is. It is very relaxing and peaceful.

With having to focus upon two other skills, I am sort of glad fishing and cooking are still more simplified. Could you imagine if they gave them the whole trade skill change…
All the fish this expansion have an ‘on use’ effect and its just really odd. I mean one or two for extra skill or something is fine, but they went completely overboard with this stuff. Just a big headache. And why on earth isn’t the fishing hat able to be slotted with your fishing pole?! That is so braindead annoying!
