Why is everyone farming Terokk on cooldown..?

Seriously I thought I’d have a nice relaxing abandoned Skettis to farm for this long-forgotten low-drop toy. Instead I find the skull is never even up to summon the boss, it’s literally clicked on cooldown by multiple people waiting. Not to mention the effort of farming up the Time-Lost Offering each time.

… Why? I feel like I’m missing something. He drops a forgettable toy with like 2% chance, and a few crappy transmogs…

Nothing else to do in the game right now, might as well farm old reps/mogs/toys.

idk, I don’t remember this during similar “lull” periods when I went to do old content.

It makes me wonder if they’re being overly aggressive with the whole shard-sharing thing. Like the only people that are even in terokkar forest are doing this, so we all end up in the same place competing for the boss.

I just did skettis on Horde WrA in an afternoon and only had 1 other person to compete with, that’s strange. Obviously there isn’t much to do right now so people are catching up on reps and such. Also remember that people are trying desperately to get that 5mil brutosaur. A lot of Add-Ons put tbc greens are super expensive and rare when they aren’t, and so people will see things on his drop table and farm them into futility.

This is probably it.

Why are YOU there, then?

I’m half-kidding. It is a bit strange, but maybe people have just decided now’s a good time to go after these old things they forgot about. Maybe someone’s been talking about arakkoa more and they’ve caught more interest? Because the whole reason I wanted that toy in particular was because I want an arakkoa playable race real bad and this is the closest I’m getting.
