I’ve reached level 75 and can’t progress any more. Nothing gives skill ups except for goggles. There are no work orders. There are skill ups available in unlearned recipes but I have no idea how to get them except for grinding dragon shards of knowledge & similar items which is not fun. How did engineering get to be so bad?
Those recipes come from high rep or in the case of the Fishing pole gold coin bags. All professions are like that. you get to 50-60 then are supposed to use work orders, except the work order system didn’t turn out to be used as much as Blizz was expecting.
need recipes to help bridge the gap
Why is it bad? Simple, it was rushed and slapped together at the end of the beta with FAR less effort put into in than other professions. So many things were not thought out, such as leveling curve (among other things). Balance with the other professions was not even considered. Blizzard just didn’t care to put any real effort into it.
I am just hoping that engineering gets some real work put into it in the profession update patch. Blizzard has to know there is a problem.
Crates of bombs, i think go all the way up to 100. Get the crate of bombs and/or crate of ez throw bombs and you can get a point or two per day.
I bought the fishing pole recipe for 300k at the second week of the exp I think. Was too expensive, then I had to finish what I started. So I crafted a bunch to myself and sold to the NPC for something like 5g. It worked
Engineering is always a diceroll, it was horrible at the start of BFA then they patched the helmet to be bis for almost everyone. There’s a chance they’ll fix it in a future patch.
