Why is Dukem considered mature language?

Tried to make a character named Dukem but couldn’t, Duke was considered mature as well.

They not like Duke Nukem or something?

My guesses;

Duke is a title, titles are not allowed.
Nukem might be a copyrighted name, which is also not allowed.

Ok, fair I guess but why Dukem?

It contains the word Duke?

Seems silly to me but ok.

The game has MANY weird filters… I have learned things I wish I didn’t know off, because the seemingly innocent word was blocked.

LOOKING AT YOU, WINTER ACTIVITY!

im sure they had to ban all the nonsense the monkeys from pandaria say, such as “im gonna ook you right in the dooker.” im still suprised that bosses soundbites went live.

I tried making one called “Tylerdurden” and it said the same. I’ve seen people with characters named after members of the national socialist German worker’s party, for Jeebus sake.

The filters are getting ridiculous.

Titles arent allowed.

I wanted to name a battle pet Mr Paws and it stated it contains mature language.

Blizzards rules… Not much you can do.

Why not make your name Dunkem? Like space jam, and it relates to your current name as well.

So you’re telling me that using Duke as the first part of a name cancels out the rest of the names I could use like Dukenukem or Dukeoneoneseven?

This. It’s a title.

Yes. 10/char

Yes, I tried using Viking and it said it was mature, after that I tried King and it was a mature word, anything with “King” is mature. Queen however is not, kind of interesting hmmmmm?
