Why is dragonfligh more expensive then previous expansions?

Compared to SL when it was available to pre purchase it was around $70, and dragonflight is $90. Same cr*p you get as usual but more expensive. They think its going to be best expansion so they want to price it correctly?

Inflation.

What inflation? You must be kidding me?

Was the epic edition $70?

Just looked it up, so everything went up by $10 apparently not too bad.

I mean I could have purchased the base version without the boost, mount, two pets, toy, and multiple transmogs and that would have made it cost a lot less.

I am kidding you.

It was something like that not sure but I know it was not close to $95 when you include taxes

The most expensive edition of SLs is/was 79.99 and the most expensive version of DF is 89.99.

There is a $10 difference between SL and DF for all packages.

Because capitalism.

14% inflation will do that.

Inflation is an excuse to jack the prices. Fuel prices on global market are down, so prices should go on normal. US doesn’t depend on Russia for gas, neither on any other resource, so using Russia war as an excuse is just to cover money they played with during pandemic.

1.) It’s not 2010 anymore.
2.) Dragonflight isn’t $90, it’s 50. The epic edition is 90 and has many more extras than previous deluxe editions did.

Glad I could clear that up for you.

It has not. Actually they added extra pet and I guess that counts $15

Great counter argument. You’re also wrong. (See, I can do that, too.)

Epic edition has: 5 back transmogs, 1 helm transmog, 2 pets, 1 toy, 1 mount, 1 month of game time. Show me the deluxe edition with a similar amount of extras. I’ll wait.

As I pointed out earlier…its only $10. Which is pretty cheap for a store pet

While the US does not import much from Russia at all, many other countries do. They need to get those resources somewhere so there is less global supply. Less supply, higher prices. Stop thinking so one denominational.

So you will justify your charge for adding something only minority likes, while already having one in package?

Its 2 years later…and prices go up.

Either way Im fine with it. I can afford $10 more for a game I will likely play for 2 years

I was actually gonna write the same thing, but in all seriousness. :eyes:

Inflation would be a more acceptable reason than the more likely one, which is simply avarice & blinding pride that it will sell the same numbers regardless of the price. :frowning:

So don’t buy the epic edition? Base edition is there for you. If you’re really complaining that the base game increased it’s price by 10 bucks after what, 10 years? Then I don’t know what to tell you.
