In dungeons I keep running into a temporary problem where Demonic Strength is unable to cast. Felguard is active and full energy and there don’t seem to be any resource requirements, is it a LOS thing? But I feel like I get this problem even in big open room scenarios too… After about 5 or so seconds of spamming it though it finally casts. I thought maybe he couldnt do it if you’d just recently cast Guillotine but it doesn’t seem to be the case.

You can’t use Demonic Strength during your Felguards normal Felstorm or Guillotine. Also, Guillotine will break felstorm including the Demonic Strength version.

It’s pretty annoying, ngl. You kinda need a weakaura to track Felstorm because Blizzard, in their infinite wisdom, decided we don’t need any kind of visual indicators telling us when Demonic Strength is actually usable

Weak Aura is definitely recommended.

if he’s using the regular version of his aoe spin, it won’t cast until over with. it took me a minute to figure this out with mine last xpac.

Ah ok thanks everyone that’s definitely the problem, yeah in the chaos it’s hard to see Felstorm unless you’re staring at the pet bar too - I’ll check out some weakauras after I hit 70 on him but at least I know I’m not losing my mind now

I hate Demonic Strength with passion. An extra button on a 1min CD that you can’t even use when your pet is performing an action. Amazing game design 10/10.

not a fan of the design choices but it is what it is sadly…
Why not instead make it a damage aoe aura effect around your main active demon (that also interacts with fel-sunder)
I’m sure it’d not only feel more satisfying ,but also look better than a felguard just screaming amidst a pile of demons/players we can barely see through (to even know he’s spinning in the first place)
guillotine should work like inmolation aura , DH stole everything ¬¬

I use Bilescourge Bombers instead of Demonic Strength as it’s way more forgiving.
you could always use the command ability to pull with… i don’t believe he starts spinning until the first hit.

also as for Bilescourge bombers… while the theme and feel of the spell is fantastic, its power falls nowhere near it’s alternative. It would be nice however if it at least cost 0 shards to cast… as DS also has that advantage over it
