The “Stood in the fire” event is supposed to end when a server first defeats Deathwing in Dragon Soul.

When our guild first killed Deathwing, I got a laugh as a couple of them went to go farm herbs after raid, only to die to Deathwings fire.
Deathwing got payback.

gonna laugh when MoP rolls around and deathwing is still flying in the sky burning all the zones, would be hella funny if somehow MoP zones were never excluded either

As mad as I’d be if I was a victim, I’d still manage to see the funny side of it, especially if I’m in discord with guildies when it happens.
He should keep attacking until Cata ends. He should also attack zones in Retail during Cata TW, but idk if the retail devs are competent either.
Isn’t Firelands the Cata TW raid though? Wouldn’t make sense for Deathwing to burn zones.
It kind of would if you look at it from the angle of going back in time to Firelands being the main raid. Deathwing would still be alive burning zones down.
That is not Deathwing its his Twin Brother Demisewing.
