So has convoke.
Repeatedly.
On top of it, it doesn’t always hit who we want it to hit. it can be interrupted. It has a 2 minute cd, and if you allowed them to open with it, that’s on you.

Can’t you just like cast incarn in stealth and use it if you so desired?
That was a nerf to the legendary and that legendary is still BiS by a country mile.
He had 2 seconds to act. That’s not a response tbh
Yeah, except sub rogues get to have ridiculous levels of control and CDs to reset a fight on top of their still pretty stupid damage.

I just woke up. Read this. Had a good belly laugh.
I have screenshots of dying in the first .5s of coming out of stealth. I have a screenshot of me kicking it in the first .7s and still dying… I got the interrupt mind you.
You see, boomkins can stealth and it’s not always clear where they are going to pop out. Also, you have teammates who can help you setup damage. The fact you are even trying to defend it is just insane.
The spell is just beyond hilarious to watch. I can’t even sac the right target… BECAUSE you’re hitting everything. The ONLY reasonable reaction is use your biggest defensive in the first .7s or you could die. How is that right in your mind?

People calling for Convoke to be nerfed all around don’t understand something.
Many times, in PvE, Convoke saved me from dying from a 1-shot.
So if Blizzard does nerf it, you will see many druids get 1-shot even in PvE.
I believe they stated, quite clearly, that they’re generally not going to do big tuning passes or changes to Covenants because they don’t want you to have made a choice and have it’s value taken away from you.
This is a product of the “meaningful choices” that people so desperately clung to. Now that there are objectively better choices (and not by a little) there’s nothing Blizzard is going to do about it because, and get this, if they don’t follow the rules of that choice being meaningful, impactful, and having consequences, then the whole thing is a farce.
They don’t want to rebalance covenants constantly because, just like if we could change them at will, that undermines the value of having flavor choices that have impacts on the game.

I blame the hardcore pvpers. They wanted all the “secret hidden numbers” not showing up on your screen gone. So blizzard gave them what they want. Now they hide on their forum alts to cry about it.
The first time I read convoke tooltip months ago It seemed OP af. The kinda thing an eight year old might devise if asked what superpower he wanted

Ret wasn’t nerfed enough. Pallys in general are still way out of line. Even prot is ridiculous in arenas.

Wrong. People like yourself don’t understand nerfs. It’s already been discussed here in length. They can nerf PvP and not affect PvE. Many of the ‘PvP’ nerfs on tuesday were ONLY for PvP and have 0 affect on PvE damage.
You blame the pvpers for abilities that kill people in .4-.5s?
This isn’t that. PvP is healthier now than it has been in ages. They just need to fix the outliers.

You’re a hunter. Bring your pet out, and roughly half the spells Convoke casts would hit your pet instead.
I’d also add that Full Moon casts from Convoke, let alone those that crit or even hit the right target, are incredibly rare. There’s a big reason Kyrian is seen as the superior PvP choice for moonkins: consistency, and not downright terrible outside of any single target situation.
