The only power we have is if we purchase and play, or if we don’t. Him and the board really don’t care if you protest as long as you keep playing and paying. If enough people stop doing that then and only then will he be removed, not before. The board are not gamers, they are investors. They could not care less about his personal issues or how good the games are as long as their bank accounts get stacked.

I’d hate to tell you this, but this is just performative activism. The whole “I’ll be making these posts more common” like you have a foot in the race or any stake at all. He doesn’t look at these forums, nobody with power looks at these forums. It is quite literally a “Huzzah, look how virtuous I am” post.

You didn’t care enough to make a change when the stakes were what video game you were playing. What makes you think someone else will care when the stakes may be hundreds of millions of dollars and protracted court battles that may be a lot harder in the actual justice system vs the “court” of public opinion?
Bobby Kotick made and probably still will make a lot of people money. Blizzard is a business. Unless he utterly is immoral and a criminal totally he will remain ceo of blizzard or some other company will hire him. I don’t know Mr. Kotick but the man is probably genius. It’s just how business works. Now I’m not commenting on what he did or didn’t do I’m just telling you most likely why he is still a thing.
