Why is Blizzard being lazy in Dragonflight...?

Haven’t noticed. Don’t care.

Did you just assume their gender!!!

Try to figure out which tuskarr are male and which are female. It’s not as easy as you’d think.

Bad bate. This is a none issue.

Oh I see, this is just another “give Dracthyr boobs” thread. Y’all need to get over it and get your heads examined by a licensed professional.

And he’s not going to get them.

Nah, my comment is “It doesn’t matter if it’s male or female.” But it does agree that multiple forms of a playable character could exist. But that doesn’t directly imply male or female. I’m all for more options, but that doesn’t mean I think the current options are lazy.

FWIW, I just dislike anyone saying something is “lazy” when the odds are they have no experience in the field they complain about. (Not directed at anyone here, just the general vibe). Laziness implies a lack of care and effort.

Like a baseball player who grounds out to first:

  • Jog to first base? Fine.
  • Not even bothering to run? Lazy. (fwiw, coaches will bench you immediately for this)

Like… at least touch first base, then run back. No need to make the game more boring, right?

Get permission before you do that to a dracthyr, no matter what gender.

Dude touch some grass

A lot of WoW is based on Warhammer.
Notably in Warhammer, Orcs are fungal in nature and reproduce by spores.

Perhaps the same thing is true with Ogres.
According to our non-cannon lore books written by the titan’s perspective about events the titans couldn’t ever know about, the Ogres were made by the Draenor SporeMounds corrupting magnaron and gronn.

(But then we also have the Mok’nathal, so there’s that…)

He didn’t say anything about what’s playable, only which races don’t have female models.

The very first option that dracthyr have at the barber is for their body size so you’re not forced to look scrawny if you go with a male visage and subscribe to the idea of men being larger than women.

They have at least a few options for their snouts, brows, and cheekbones that look masculine-leaning, e.g. the “Shimada” snout has a pseudo goatee and the “Thorns” brow and cheekbones options give them a bit of an edge. It’s just me associating hardness with masculinity.

Is this another “boobs on dragons” thread?

yup, because apparently some people just can’t wrap their heads around a fictional species not conforming to the rather specific range of dimorphism exhibited by our species in particular.

My head cannon is ogres have a “queen bee” hiding deep underground, we see the warrior ogres above ground but there are gather/worker ogres still undiscovered.

Which, if they want to exclude drakonids and Dragonspawn they’d have to exclude too.

So you think the only difference between one or the other is… one has more muscles than the other or is ‘bigger’?

How is that masculine leaning specifically?

Yes, it is.

Now you’re just oversimplifying what I said. People associate size with gender, and several races reflect that, most obviously orcs, tauren, draenei, pandaren, and Kul Tirans. People who want to make their dracthyr look masculine, feminine, or in-between have an option right there.

Do you see that many women with prominent chin hair in real life?

At this point, I’ve seen you lash out at almost everyone else in this thread in your crusade to argue for the sake of arguing, so I think I’m going to head out.

If that were true, certain races would just be ‘bigger’ without any variation of how said race looks otherwise.

So there’s no differences between the models aside from their size? Curious.

Yes, armpit hair too, leg hair, everywhere. IIRC, because of certain things a lot of women shave. A LOT. Like every day. Because people like you push that notion you’re not one if you have any sort of hair anywhere except the top of their head.

if you really look and you zoom in really really close at their pants you can see some shadowing that definitely won’t be a waste of your time but you got to zoom in real close.

Hey!! I tried to add you and it wasn’t working. Sorry for the delay but a rl issue came up. I’ll try again this weekend and see if it works. Hope all is well.

Because they’re dragons. Dragons and subspecies of dragons have never had secondary traits that allows someone to tell them apart. Races like gnolls are and arakkoa are similar in that regard.

It isn’t laziness, not every race needs it. It helps make things realistic.

They haven’t op? I didn’t notice this. Please tell me you haven’t seen a male or female in this expansion if you didn’t that’s not a Blizz problem I suggest you see a eye doctor or some other professional.
